Yale Young Global Scholars ( Summer 2025)

Description: A two-week, Yale-based academic track that teaches students to analyse and design responses to 21st-century problems framed by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across areas like global health, gender equity, poverty alleviation, and environmental sustainability.

Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, Winter Intensive (January, 2025)

 

A selective global-policy immersion where students analyse governance, diplomacy, and media in international affairs through faculty talks, expert briefings, and team projects. The curriculum emphasizes real-world decision-making, strategic communication, and ethics in public leadership.

  • Expert seminars & Q&A: Engaged with Fatema Z. Sumar (development & governance), Caroline Kimeu (foreign policy journalism), and Dr. Joseph S. Nye, Jr. (international strategy; “soft power”) to interrogate statecraft, accountability, and narrative power.

  • Case labs & simulations: Crisis briefings, stakeholder mapping, and negotiation exercises.

  • Workshops: Op-ed framing, policy-memo structure, and data-driven recommendations
